Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Bhopal started its functioning w.e.f. 16th November'1977 under the control of Shri Madan Gopal Ji, First Assistant Commissioner. Regional Office was running in temporary building.

A small initiative to make effective use of the two CCA periods on Saturdays in the Vidyalaya to further improve the school's examination results. Students who generally hesitate to ask questions during regular classroom sessions were provided with a valuable opportunity to interact freely and clarify their doubts.

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 Bhopal organised a competition: Students painted 'Modi's mantras' on canvas, the principal said - filling in these colours will alleviate exam fear.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office Bhopal, organized a 'Hindi Month' with the aim of promoting the Hindi language, raising awareness about Hindi as the Official Language, and encouraging its increased usage. The primary objective of this event was to foster an interest in Hindi among officers and staff and to promote the use of Hindi in official work.
